What is COVID-19 antibody test?

It is a simple blood test to see whether there are antibodies against SARS-CoV2（COVID-19).

What is the test for?

COVID-19 antibody test has been used for overseas vaccination verification. Certain country requires antibody test as part of the pre-departure test. It is also used to roughly gauge the immune response.

Must I have the test done?

COVID-19 antibody test is not a must. However, it is helpful if you have doubt about your immunity towards COVID-19.

What is cPass?

COVID infection and vaccination create 2 types of antibodies. One is non-neutralising antibodies. The other one is neutralising antibodies. Neutralising antibodies protect and stop the virus from entering your cell, whereas non-neutralising antibodies cannot.

cPass test was developed in Singapore and checks for neutralising antibodies.

What are the options?

Anti-S: check your antibody level.
cPass: know how well your antibody functions.
Anti-N: check for past infection.

Do I need to see a doctor?

You don’t need to see a doctor for COVID-19 antibody test, but you can definitely consult our doctors if you have questions regarding COVID-19 infection or vaccination.

This is a simple blood test. You don’t need to be fasted.
